MISSION STATEMENT
To empower athletes through the sport of lacrosse. Our program seeks to teach and reinforce the values of wholesome competition, great sportsmanship, and fair play as well as to support development in leadership/confidence, collaboration/community, and persistence through adversity. Our coaches are all trained through the Positive Coaching Alliance and held to a high degree of accountability and sportsmanship to uphold our program and school values. All players, parents, and fans are expected to adhere to the same level of accountability in how they treat all MHS constituents, opposing teams (players, parents, fans), and officials. Our overall goal is to create a team-first environment and experience our players can benefit from for the rest of their lives.

COACHING STAFF
Hey Friends! My name is Billy Spingola & I wear a lot of hats that are all attached through the sport of lacrosse here in Wisconsin. I am the current head coach for the Boy’s Varsity lacrosse team, a partner in Alpha Lacrosse, and a partner in the Lax Shack, Wisconsin’s newest lacrosse storefront. I was born & raised in a western suburb of Chicago (don’t hold it against me) before I made my way to Marquette University to pursue a degree in Biomechanical Engineering & opportunity to play for the MU lacrosse program. My playing days at Marquette were short-lived, but the minute I hung up the cleats in 2014 I picked up my whistle and have been coaching here in Wisconsin ever since. I am going onto my 4th season coaching within the Mukwonago lacrosse community & I’m blessed to see how quickly the community has taken to the fastest growing sport in the country.
BIO
Hey Everyone! My name is Derek Hoppe. I have been coaching the Defense for the last 2 years for the Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse team. I was born & raised in Wales WI where I went to KM (don’t hold it against me) before I made my way to University of Wisconsin Whitewater to pursue a degree in Human Health & Performance & opportunity to play for the UWW Football program. My playing days at UWW were life changing, going to a semi-final and a national championship. After graduating from UWW I needed to get back into the sport of Lacrosse. In 2023 I picked up my whistle and have been coaching here in Mukwonago ever since. Billy drew me back to the game I loved so much. Fun fact I was one of the first to be coached by Billy for 1 season before going to college. It has been a blast being able to be a part of the MUK Family and the Community!
BIO
Hello! My name is Billy Plant, I graduated from Mukwonago in 2023. I began playing lacrosse in 5th grade and played through high school. Last season was my first year coaching, as I am also the Head Coach of the 10U team at the youth level. In the summer I help out Alpha Lacrosse Club as well, coaching the 8U and 10U boys. I am very grateful for every opportunity I get to coach the game I love most.
Hello! My name is Aidan Wojciechowski, but you all most likely know me as Coach Wojo! I am a Mukwonago graduate from the class of 2021, where I was a Varsity Captain and All-Conference Defenseman. After high-school, I attended Marquette University and graduated with a degree in Political Science, leading to my recent admission into Marquette Law School. While at Marquette, I became president of the Marquette Club Lacrosse team and gained experience coaching a variety of programs and levels. I am thrilled to return to Mukwonago High School this year to help the program continue to grow and strive to reach its ultimate goal!
